This week, Jim Moray and his band perform live in the Salford studio.
Jim has been a staple on the folk scene since releasing his first album, Sweet England, in 2001.
His distinct style, fusing electronica, rock and pop to refresh traditional songs, has won him many accolades. In 2008 he won Album of the Year in the fRoots Critics Poll and MOJO's Folk Album of the Year for his album Low Culture. He has also scooped a number of 大象传媒 Radio 2 Folk Awards, including the Horizon Award in 2003 and Album of the Year in 2004.
Upcetera, Jim's sixth solo album, was released last year.
