Rex leaves no stone unturned, and could Jazzer have met his match?

Rex is prospecting for work. He has no joy at Brookfield; his lack of experience in the lambing shed is no use to David, who needs people he can leave unsupervised. It also emerges that Rex has applied to Hassett Taxis. Later, Rex chases the payment promised by Toby for his help in preparing for the Environmental Health visit. Looking on, kind-hearted Bert hands over a hedge-trimming job to Rex - explaining that his back's playing up so it would be better if Rex did it.

David and Kenton compare notes on their driving pupils. Kenton's as disconcerted by Freddie's cautious approach as David is alarmed by Lily's speed. They agree on a bet - whoever gets their Pargetter twin to pass their driving test first can select a chore for the other to complete.

On Burns Night at The Bull, Anisha and Jazzer jostle for position as the superior Scot. Anisha comes out on top, winning the drinking competition to which Jazzer challenged her. A very drunk Jazzer concedes defeat. But Rex spots canny Anisha had drunk mainly water. He accuses her of cheating, she replies she was only teaching Jazzer a lesson. Rex observes it seems she'll stop at nothing to win; which is fine, as long as no-one gets hurt.
