Nicola Meighan sits in

Nicola Meighan sits in for Janice Forsyth and hears from singer Billy Ocean about his upcoming tour, plus actor David Hayman talks about starring in new play The Cause of Thunder.

Grammy award wining singer Billy Ocean, with over 30m record sales, talks to Nicola about coming to Glasgow on his latest tour.

In 2014, actor David Hayman performed in a one man play that dealt with the imminent independence referendum. Written by Chris Dolan for Hayman, The Pitiless Storm brought together art, life and politics in one piece of theatre for many that year. Now Chris has written a sequel, again for David to reprise his role as trade union official, Bob Cunningham. Both join Nicola to discuss The Cause of Thunder.

At Sunday night's BAFTA Awards, a film made by an Edinburgh-based director will be in the running for Best Short Film. Samir Mehanovic will be in studio to talk about Mouth of Hell, which gives a glimpse of life for the residents of an open cast mine in India which has been on fire for over 100 years.

Former Single of the Week-er Me for Queen is live in session ahead of her Edinburgh gig tonight.

And Nicola hosts Janice's Book Group; today Deborah Moggach's novel Tulip Fever will be discussed by art critic Anne Ellis and reviewer Hannah McGill.
