The people and places that make Northern Ireland unique, with Anne Marie McAleese, including the chance to get closer to nature and be one of the RSPB's 100 volunteers at Rathlin Seabird Centre. The women of Newry and Mourne are taking centre stage at Bagnals Castle in a special four-day-long event that celebrates the 20th-century history of the women of the district. Seventeen years after it was first published, The Fair River Valley has been given a revamp. Focused on Strabane throughout the ages, the book boasts 404 pages of stories on transport, education, religion, entertainment and communications in the north west Ulster town.
