Twentieth anniversary of World Book Day

Chris Hawkins asks listeners to create soundtracks to books of their choice, from old classics to childhood favourites, to mark the twentieth anniversary of World Book Day.

Films all have soundtracks, so why not books?

Chris asks Early Breakfast Show listeners to create soundtracks to books of their choice, whether they be old classics or childhood favourites.

World Book Day is now in its 20th year, and is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and most importantly reading. It is the biggest celebration of its kind, and is marked in over 100 countries. The aim is to encourage children to explore reading by giving them the chance to have a book of their own.
