Deer poaching, Fairtrade and Brexit, Agricultural pollution
The potential effects of Brexit for farmers in the poorest countries; the risks to public safety from deer poaching; and the start of a new series on agricultural pollution.
Brexit will mean new trade deals with rich countries - so what might the impact be for farmers in the poorest countries? A report by the Fairtrade Foundation and Traidcraft says the livelihoods of millions of farmers are at stake. Conor Macauley reports from Northern Ireland on the risks that deer poaching poses to public safety and human health. And our theme this week is pollution. Mark Sutton from the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology outlines the challenges for farming.
Presented by Sybil Ruscoe and produced by Chris Ledgard.
