St Giles Trust
St Giles Trust works with people in the criminal justice system and those experiencing other forms of severe disadvantage.聽 Our ethos is to train people who have first-hand experience of overcoming difficulties to offer our services to those in similar situations. Last year, we helped over 18,000 people in prison and in the community make positive progress in their lives.
Peer Support
Our professionally trained Peer Advisors help people in prison and in the community, using a mix of their first-hand experience and training to offer highly credible and trusted support with issues such as homelessness, unemployment and any other problem which might be holding someone back.
Positive Role Models
Each Peer Advisor acts as a positive role model to other people. They are living proof that positive change is possible no matter how hard it seems.
Prevention
Helping stop the next generation end up in prison is vital to our work.聽 Services such as our SOS+ Project use our Peer Advisors to go into schools to help prevent young people from getting involved in the criminal justice system.
