Kate Molleson presents the last in a series of four programmes featuring some of the most outstanding and thought-provoking pianists of our time. German-Italian pianist Sophie Pacini begins today's concert with a work that Schumann commented was 'overflowing with tenderness', Chopin's Scherzo No 2 in B flat minor. Next, she plays the first Beethoven sonata she ever learned, aged 13, the Waldstein, and finishes with Liszt's fiendish operatic fantasy, his R茅miniscences de Don Juan.
