Cerys has a live session from Bill Kirchen and Austin de Lone off the back of their recent album Transatlanticana.

She'll also be shining a light on the Persian New Year with Yasmin Khan who came in last year to talk about her cookbook The Saffron Tales: Recipes From the Persian Kitchen.

Kirchen co-founded the original "Americana" band, Commander Cody and his Lost Planet Airmen. De Lone dropped out of Harvard to start Eggs Over Easy, moving to London and recording with Chas Chandler. The Eggs are the progenitors of British pub rock, the first link in the chain to punk rock.
