Usha rallies the troops, and Jill does a good deed.

Lynda's quest to get a Community Speedwatch group off the ground is being hampered by the lack of availability of the required equipment. She disbelieves Harrison's claim that the Darrington group are using it continually.

Susan pumps Jennifer for information about Lilian and Justin. She's surprised they can still be seen together after recent events. Is all forgiven and forgotten? Jennifer insists her sister's love life is her own private business. Jennifer later admits to Jill she has no idea what's going on. It's clear Lilian's still besotted, although it seems her and Justin are still playing silly games with one another. Jennifer's past caring, and Brian's practically in hiding.

Jill thanks Kirsty for rescuing her last week when her swimming costume let her down. Kirsty feels guilty about her mood over the past few weeks. She wants to bake a cake for her work mates by way of apology, but her attempts are hopeless so she might just have to buy one. Later, Jill drops off a cake of her own with Kirsty.

Usha holds a meeting to decide on a strategy for promoting the cause of older women. She feels she's fallen victim to blatant ageism and sexism regarding the cricket team. They need to show Harrison Burns what the women of Ambridge are made of!
