Emma accidentally breaks an ornament while cleaning at The Lodge. Peggy's surprised at how upset Emma gets and reassures that neither she nor Christine liked it much. Emma's fed up with only just making ends meet. Peggy reminds Emma that she is a determined woman and she'll find a way to succeed.

Kirsty joins Tom and Helen who have been catching up over how IBR has affected Bridge Farm and their parents. Kirsty reminds Helen that it's the anniversary of Helen stabbing Rob tomorrow. As she plays with Jack, Kirsty says her Dad has told her to focus on her career. Helen congratulates Kirsty on securing a new beauty supplier at Grey Gables but Kirsty doesn't think it's anything to shout about.

Peggy's expecting Lilian to arrive to take her to the chiropodist but Justin turns up in her place. Justin tries to make conversation during the journey but Peggy maintains her guard. Peggy's offended when Justin too knowingly mentions her first husband, Jack Archer. He apologies and tells her about his parents and their marriage.

Justin takes Peggy to visit Jack Woolley's grave. Peggy warns him that Lilian is much more fragile than she seems so he can't mess her around. Justine assures Peggy that he has made his choice - now it's up to Lilian.
