Emma takes matters into her own hands, and Eddie comes to Rex's defence.
Ed tracks down Pip after hearing of another cattle death at the Home Farm. Pip promises to tell David the truth about the cows getting out when it's the right moment. Meanwhile, Pip and Josh talk about Ben not wanting to go to school. It turns out he's getting flak from other kids on the bus about IBR which adds to Pip's guilt.
Josh tackles Rex over some of his product photography, which gives away the name of the farm where it was taken - and so the buyer and seller have done their own deal and they won't be getting any commission. Eddie sides with Rex, pointing out to Josh that he's trying to make a living. Later, Eddie reports back to Rex that he's told David he thinks Rex is being underpaid by Josh.
Emma has bought a trampoline for Keira and George's birthdays. She's also booked Keira a party and she'll be taking George and his friends to the cinema. Ed can't believe her spending but Emma assures him she'll pay everything off. She's got another job, working nights in a chicken factory. Ed's reluctant to put the trampoline together. Eddie offers to help first thing in the morning, and can't understand Ed's negativity towards Emma spending and her new job. But Ed is dead set against it.
