Elastica had split up by 2001 but a recent photo, showing several band members in Abbey Road Studio caused much excitement on social media, showing fans had far from forgotten them.

For this year's Record Store Day, Elastica by Elastica will be re-issued with a fanzine and flexi-disc featuring a John Peel session track.
