Episode 7
Len Goodman takes Homes Under the Hammer presenter Lucy Alexander back to Herne Bay in Kent to reminisce about the holiday of her lifetime back in 1979.
In this journey through time, Len Goodman takes Homes Under the Hammer presenter Lucy Alexander back to Herne Bay in Kent to reminisce about the holiday of her lifetime back in 1979.
First up, Len surprises Lucy by picking her up in one of the most glamorous cars we have ever had - a vintage Bentley just like the one her dad was driving back in 79. As they drive down the coast, the memories start flooding back, as a young Lucy and her sister got chocolate all over the car seats forcing her dad to throw the sweets out of the car!
In a packed and fun holiday mirroring the one she had back in the day, they take in a game of bingo, visit the area where she stayed and eat the food that Lucy remembers very fondly - the faggot. And with both of them so competitive, they have an impromptu game of who can stuff the most faggots in your mouth challenge.
Along the way, we get an insight into Lucy's career from acting, starring in television commercials and property development, as well as the role she is most famous for - presenting the daily property show Homes Under the Hammer. We also find out what made this holiday to Herne Bay so special for a young Lucy Alexander.
