Nicola Meighan sits in

Nicola Meighan sits in for Janice Forsyth and discusses the week's new film releases, including Rules Don't Apply, Their Finest and The Transfiguration.

It's Film Day: Nicola Meighan will discuss Rules Don't Apply - Actor-director Warren Beatty's long-awaited drama about 'Young Romance & Old Hollywood.'

And hears from Legendary Director of the film himself!

Regular Critics, Siobhan Synnot & Alison Rowat will share their thoughts on it, and on this week's other big cinema releases: including British war-time tale, Their Finest -set in 1940, it's a blend of comedy and drama about married woman (Gemma Arterton) and a screenwriter (Sam Claflin) who develop a growing attraction while working together on a propaganda film, and The Transfiguration - Michel O'Shea's atmospheric New York tale about love, loss... and vampires!

Later in the show, we'll hear from Andy Bell of Erasure - discussing the band's new single 'Love You To The Sky', and, ahead of Record Store Day, Nicola will be exploring the enduring appeal of 'vinyl' - and the precious 'memories and moments attached to records.'

All that and much more, from two o'clock on Thursday, here on 大象传媒 Radio Scotland.
