In Track 3 we meet the comic genius and original anti-hero, WC Fields.

In 'Who Took The Cork Off My Lunch?' the actor Geoffrey Palmer looks at the influence Fields had on British culture. He also reveals how Fields developed an appreciation of British music hall comedy and English literature which reverberated throughout his stage and screen career.
With contributions from comedy historian Glenn Mitchell, the programme also includes rare archive of Benny Hill impersonating Fields on one of his early television shows.
