Oscar-nominated director Mike Figgis chats about his new book, The Thirty-Six Dramatic Situations, plus Matt Everitt has new music from Stewart Copeland and Mark King's new group.

Monday sees Oscar nominated director Mike Figgis joining Shaun to chat about his new book 'The Thirty Six Dramatic Situations'. Mike is a renowned film-maker and musician whose career began with the People Show in the 1970s. His film credits include Stormy Monday, Internal Affairs, Miss Julie, Timecode and Hotel. He received Oscar nominations for Best Director and Best Screenplay for Leaving Las Vegas. He chats with Shaun about the book that is based upon Georges Polti's theory that all drama takes the form of one of 36 situations. Mike and Shaun chat about how the book help when struggling with a film treatment and decided to rework Polti's theory for a modern, film-focused audience.
