A story dominating the headlines this morning - a fire has ripped through Grenfell Tower in west London. The fire brigade has confirmed there have been fatalaties - but we do not know how many at this point. Stephen talks to 大象传媒 reporters on the scene, councillor Robert Atkinson, who represents the Kensington and Chelsea area, former professor of architecture at Queens Tom Wooley, Ian Paisley MP and we hear from eyewitnesses.
Also on the programme, a Nolan Show exclusive - we can reveal that it is costing 拢33,188 per month for TV broadcasting for the Northern Ireland Assembly even though they haven't been sitting. A Freedom of Information request has revealed the contract is worth 拢398,256 for one year up to July this year and to date there have been no payment reductions imposed due to the halt in Assembly proceedings. Power-sharing collapsed in January with the last Assembly proceedings held on January 24th - since then MLAs have only returned twice in March for new MLAs taking the role of membership after the snap election (March 13th) and a special session to pay tribute to the late Martin McGuinness (March 22nd). Stephen got reaction from TUV leader Jim Allister.
