Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie

Fleetwood Mac's keyboard player Christine McVie; celebrating older dancers and choreographers; Rhona Hotchkiss, prison governor; Emma Woffenden, glassmaker. Jenni Murray presents.

Christine McVie from Fleetwood Mac played keyboards and wrote some of the band's most recognisable songs. Now in her seventies, she's just brought out a new album with another member of Fleetwood Mac, Lindsey Buckingham. Christine talks to Jenni about leaving California and her bandmates, living as a near recluse in Kent and then finding it hard to resist re-joining the band again.

Today sees the start of Sadler's Wells' Elixir Festival - a five day event celebrating the inspiring work of older dancers and choreographers. Award-winning choreographer Shobana Jeyasingh has choreographed a specially commissioned piece featured in 'Knowbody II' as part of the festival. Pam Zinkin is a member of the Company of Elders who will perform this piece. Pam joined the Company aged 72 despite having never danced before. Now aged 86 (and despite three spinal operations), she's excited and ready for the performance. They join Jenni to discuss the challenges and joy of dancing for people of all ages.

Over the last few days we've been hearing from women with first-hand experience of leaving prison and trying to pick up or change their lives outside. In the last of the series our reporter Milly Chowles is at HMP Corton Vale Stirling visiting the Governor there. Rhona Hotchkiss knows both Roberta and Yvonne, two former prisoners we heard from earlier this week. She says they aren't typical, that life on the outside can be even harder for some women than it has been for them.

We'll hear from the second of our 12 finalists of the Woman's Hour Craft Prize in partnership with the Crafts Council and the Victoria and Albert Museum. Emma Woffenden makes large sculptures inspired by the human body out of glass.
