More about the programme:
It is a year since Rhondda Cynon Taf received seven families to the area.
They are among the survivors of the Syrian conflict who have arrived in Wales, joining refugees from other wars, from persecution and extreme poverty.聽 Communities across the country have rallied to welcome them, and many churches and faith groups have been active in providing support.
To mark Refugee Week Roy Jenkins explores some of the relationships built between refugees and one church in Pontypridd聽 -聽 St. David鈥檚 Uniting Church聽 - and meets a family who fled Syria after the father was tortured in prison; and a maths teacher who faced persecution for his faith in Eritrea, made a nightmare journey across the Sahara, risked his life on the Mediterranean, and reached the UK via the Calais jungle.聽
