Train, C Duncan and Kathryn Joseph

Janice Forsyth presents a compilation of great music interviews from the past few months, including Train, C Duncan and Kathryn Joseph.

Janice presents a compilation of great music interviews from the past few months:

Columnist, writer and activist George Monbiot and folk musician Ewan McLennan talk about teaming up to create an extraordinary project, Breaking the Spell of Loneliness, inspired by George's observations of social isolation, and put together in the hope - and belief - that music can bring people together.

Train frontman Pat Monaghan discusses the band's 10th album, A Girl, a Bottle, a Boat.

Young talent C Duncan (Chris Duncan) has in a very short space of time become a favourite in Scottish indie music. His debut album Architect was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize. He talks to Janice about his follow-up album, The Midnight Sun.

Since Kathryn Jospeh won the Scottish Album of the Year Award in 2015, any hints of new music and live shows from her have gone down a storm - so we were delighted when she came onto the show to share her plans for 2017, play some music, and give a few wee hints as to what a second album might be like.
