Each week he also highlights a piece of Crucial Vinyl - a cherished album from his own collection. This time it's Without You I'm Nothing, released by Placebo in 1998.

Don says, 'I remember first seeing Placebo on TV back in '96, and being struck by the whole androgynous thing, but I was much more interested in lead singer Brian Molko's vocal style, his lyrics, subject matter and their particular take on what was a very guitar-driven sound. When they released this, their second album, I was a fully-fledged fan.'.
