In this week's programme we hear from a broken-hearted clown - Canio in I Pagliacci by Leoncavallo and a broken hearted Countess in Mozart's Marriage of Figaro. Ear protectors at the ready for the Anvil Chorus from Verdi's Il Trouvatore and we'll hear Florence Foster Jenkins sing part of the Queen of the Night aria from Mozart's Magic Flute before soprano Sumi Jo demonstrates how it really should be sung!
