Stephen Jardine stands in. Why aren't our children exercising enough?

A new study conducted for the Scottish Government indicates that just 11% of Scottish children meet the daily guidelines for physical activity. The 'Growing up in Scotland' study analysed physical activity levels of 10-11 year old children across the country and found that 60% met the guideline, of 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity, over one week and boys were found to be more active than girls.
