Ahead of the Songs of Scott Walker Prom this evening, there's a chance to hear the second part of an episode of the Radio 2 Arts Programme first broadcast in January 1996, in which Allan Clarke, lead singer of the Hollies, looks at the career of the reluctant star, from juvenile leads on Broadway, through the hits of the Walker Brothers to his 1995 album Tilt. With the help of fellow Walker Brother, Gary Leeds , former agent Ed Bicknell, engineer and producer Peter Walsh and Scott's friends from the 1960s Dave Dee and Ralph Gurnett.
