Mark and Stuart are joined by Neil Arthur and Stephen Luscombe, who are 80s-synthpop duo Blancmange. Forming in 1979, creating weird and slightly 'battered' homemade 'cassette tape' music with vacuum cleaners and kitchen utensils, they rose to fame when their track 'Sad Day' appeared on a record label's compilation sampler, called Some Bizzare Album [sic] (which also featured future alternative icons like Depeche Mode, Soft Cell and The The). Their breakthrough album was Happy Families, their 1982 release with now-classic Blancmange tracks - Living on the Ceiling, God's Kitchen, I Can't Explain - and they're here to talk about their very latest album, plus re-released albums and forthcoming tour.
