A live session from The Secret Goldfish provides tonight's musical entertainment. This year the band released their first album in 18 years - Petal Split. It was recorded between 2000 and 2016. It features covers of Outrageous Things (Vic Godard) and Ain't That Always The Way (Edwyn Collins).

The current single off the album O.Pioneers was co-written with Davy Henderson of Sexual Objects and The Fire Engines.

The band is Katy McCullars Vocals, John Morose Guitars/ Keys, Steven McSeveney Bass and Paul Turnbull Drums.

The Secret Goldfish were formed in 1994 by McCullars and Turnbull, who as teenagers had been involved in the C86 scene via Fizzbombs and Mackenzies. The Goldfish released their debut album (Aqua-Pet) in 1996 and followed it in 1999 with Mink Riots, which featured contributions by Francis Macdonald (Teenage Fanclub) and Stevie Jackson (Belle & Sebastian).

The band travel down from bonny Scotland for the set.
