Seong-Jin Cho, piano

Live from the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh, Donald Macleod presents pianist Seong-Jin Cho in his Edinburgh Festival debut.

Seong-Jin Cho won first prize at the 2015 International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition, and makes his Edinburgh International Festival debut playing Chopin's four Ballades. Seong-Jin opens his recital with two of Beethoven's mighty works for keyboard, his early 'Path茅tique' Sonata and the later Sonata No 30 in E Op.109, both ground-breaking in form and content.
