The DUP's Ian Paisley refers himself to a standards watchdog over claims that he accepted foreign holidays from the Sri Lankan government.
The DUP's Ian Paisley is referring himself to the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards over claims in the Daily Telegraph that he did not declare around 拢100,000 in hospitality from the Sri Lankan government. The North Antrim MP is denying the claims connected to a family holiday that he's alleged to have taken on the island four years ago. According to the Daily Telegraph, Mr Paisley recently met Sri Lankan officials to discuss the possibility of post-Brexit trade deals with the south Asian country.
