Paul Heaton chooses the Tracks of My Years

Paul Heaton chooses his final Tracks of My Years with music from Bill Withers and Heatwave. There's the daily love song, record and album of the week plus PopMaster.

Paul Heaton, one of the UK's finest songwriters, chooses the Tracks of My Years with music from Bill Withers and Heatwave. Paul was originally a member of The Housemartins who had success with the singles "Happy Hour" and the number one "Caravan of Love" before disbanding in 1988. He then formed The Beautiful South, whose debut single and album was released in 1989 to commercial success and continued with a series of hits throughout the nineties. They split in 2007 and Paul subsequently pursued a solo career, which produced three albums, and in 2014 he released "What Have We Become?", a well received collaboration with former Beautiful South vocalist Jacqui Abbott. The following year he released another album with her, "Wisdom, Laughter And Lines" and in 2017 a third one "Crooked Calypso". Ken also has the daily love song, record and album of the week plus PopMaster. If you'd like to get in touch with the Show email Ken.Bruce@bbc.co.uk.
