Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie: leading you around the judging circle with musical dog biscuits as your listening reward. Today they're joined by soul band The Real Thing's Chris Amoo. Formed in Liverpool in 1970,The Real Thing's live, progressive soul-influenced covers of American hits garnered them a deal with record company EMI and they quickly became the most successful black rock/soul act in England at that time. Chris is the lead singer of the band, and is also a dog breeder and judge at the dog shows including Crufts.
