Abandoman join Shaun

The brilliant Abandoman join Shaun, who is also after listeners' Earworms. Plus, Matt Everitt has the latest music news which includes a chat with Mick Fleetwood.

The brilliant Abandoman join Shaun after 9am to chat about their current UK tour. Ireland's top comedy hip-hop improv team and Edinburgh Fringe sell-out favourites Abandoman are bringing their "raucous, expansive and relentlessly hilarious" show on a tour of the UK. they chat with Shaun about this new show which sees Abandoman bring you a fictional biopic - of epic proportions. This imaginary retrospective spans twenty years and sees the duo's attempt to "make it" as a band in the early 90s. Not only will the audience witness the highs, lows and scandals... they will form the supporting cast every night.

All this plus Shaun is after your Earworms before 8am, there is an Album of the Day track from Moses Sumney and Matt Everitt has the latest Music News which includes a chat with Mick Fleetwood.

To mark the band's 50th anniversary year Mick is releasing an autobiography driven largely by photographs with accounts from him and members of the band. Its primary focus is on the Peter Green era of Fleetwood Mac between 1967-1974, emerging from the British blues boom. Mick tells Georgie Rogers about being sent off by his parents to London aged 15 with his drum kit to live with his sister and pursue music, touring with BB King, how Rod Stewart introduced him to having his clothes tailor-made and a hair-raiser of a night supporting The Grateful Dead in New Orleans.
