Toby pays a surprise visit to Pip at Lower Loxley. Pip's still very self-conscious about her appearance and doesn't want visitors, but Toby manages to make her laugh. He's pleased to see that Pip kept the charm bracelet he gave her. Pip's nervous about returning to work at Brookfield. She feels like she's going from one disaster to another, but Toby encourages her to have faith in her abilities as a farmer.

Ed's considering artificially inseminating his Texels to increase the chance of producing a champion lamb. 拢600-700 would do six. Ed suggests using some house deposit money and paying it back with Caroline's legacy. Angry Emma comes around as Ed points out that they need ambition. She suggests they could spare half the money to do three ewes. Ed's delighted.

Josh works hard at Brookfield to make time for the used machinery sale. Eddie's picked out some promising quad bikes ahead of the auction. He's impressed by the commission Josh hopes to earn, and tries to discuss payment for his work. But Josh puts him off until next week. When Josh returns to Brookfield David has bad news. The owner of Josh's stolen loader has been chasing the payment. David warns Josh he can't keep running his business on a deficit. His luck won't last forever. Josh promises not to let it happen again.
