Tha Kathleen air a bhith a' teagasg ann an sgoiltean air a' Gh脿idhealtachd agus anns na h-Eileanan Siar. Chuir i seachad grunn bhliadhnaichean a' fuireach ann an coimhearsnachd an Uibhist a Deas. Ann an Alba Nuadh, tha Kathleen air a bhith a' teagasg ch霉rsaichean G脿idhlig do dh' inbhich agus ann an Colaiste na G脿idhlig ann an Ceap Breatainn. Bha i cuideachd ag obair mar oide G脿idhlig aig Oilthigh Phrainnseis Xavier fad tr矛 bliadhna. Tha Kathleen d矛reach air cr矛och a chuir air ceum maighstireachd ann an Ceiltis agus G脿idhlig aig Oilthigh Ghlaschu agus tha i an-dr脿sta a' t貌iseachadh air a PhD. 'Se 霉rnaighean G脿idhlig ann an coimhearsnachdan Caitligeach, an cuspair rannsachaidh aice. Cluinnidh sinn seanchas Khathleen, agus ceithir de na roghainnean ci霉il pearsanta aice. A bharrachd air a sin, bidh s脿r mheasgachadh de che貌l air a thaghadh le Iain fh猫in dhuinn, a' gabhail a-steach cuid de na guthan 'Country' is fhe脿rr a th'ann.
John welcomes Kathleen Reddy for some engaging chat and plenty of country and Americana music. Kathleen was born and raised in Cape Breton where she learnt Gaelic. Since moving to Scotland she has taught Gaelic at various schools throughout the Highlands and Western Isles. She lived on South Uist for many years.
