Post punk pioneers Wire join Marc for a session

Often cited as one of the most important rock groups of the 70s and 80s Wire are possibly the founding fathers of post punk. Their sixteenth studio album Silver/Lead was released on 31st March this years- almost 40 years to the day after their first gig as a four-piece band at London's fabled Roxy club.

Still innovative and adventurous they're taking break from their current UK tour to pop into 6 Music's Salford studio.

Plus classic 大象传媒 session tracks from Bauhaus, Status Quo, The The and St Vincent.
