The Don's selections cross time, space and genre. Each week, as well as blending his favourite new music with classics from the UK, USA, Jamaica, Africa and way beyond,
Don highlights a piece of Crucial Vinyl - a cherished item from his own record collection. This week it's Definitely Maybe, the debut album from Oasis, released in 1994.

Don says, 'I was around 38 years old when this came out and more than aware of its influences, but that didn't stop me recognising it's role in the story of rock. Tapping into the 90s zeitgeist, it wasn't hard to see and hear its appeal. If I'd have been in my teens at the time, I'd have been bang on it, and even though I was approaching
my forties and I was still bang on it.'.
