An epic Battle of the Bands, as the Cadillac Three take on the Brothers Osborne live in the BHC studio!

They're touring the UK together right now, and this promises to be a very special show with both sets of musicians anxious to come out on top as they face each other down.

Years before they climbed the country charts with songs like "Stay a Little Longer" and "Rum," the Brothers Osborne grew up in Deale, Maryland, a small fishing town on the Atlantic seaboard. It was a cozy place, filled with blue-collar workers who made their living on the water. During the weekends, many of those workers would head over to the Osborne household, where a series of loose, all-night jam sessions filled the Maryland air with the sounds of Bob Seger, Hank Williams, Tom Petty and George Jones. Combined, the two Osbornes could play everything from traditional country music to rock & roll, creating a broad, full-bodied sound that would eventually fill the 11 songs on their major-label debut, Pawn Shop.

They are the current holders of the CMA Award for Duo Of The Year; this is their debut session for Bob Harris Country.

The Cadillac Three, on the other hand, are regular visitors to the show and Bob has tracked their UK progress from small bar shows to their current headlining tour and spots at the massive Download Festival. Their proud boast is that they have sold out every UK show they have ever played.

Singer-guitarist Jaren Johnston, drummer Neil Mason and lap-steel player Kelby Ray have known one another since they were Nashville teens and have been sharing stages together for nearly 15 years. This summer, they headlined the Ryman Auditorium, just a few blocks from where Johnston and Ray sat in high-school maths classes. Johnston's connection to the Ryman goes back even further: his father has been a drummer at the Grand Ole Opry since Jaren was a child. And now he has a son of his own, who, like his old man, will be well-versed in all the sounds that make up both Music City and The Cadillac Three, from country and blues to rock & roll.
