Politicians condemn the shooting of a man in the Shantallow area of Derry last night.

A man's been shot in a paramilitary style attack in Derry. The 44-year-old was walking along Madams Bank Road with a friend when a number of men forced him into a tunnel and shot him in the leg. It happened shortly after 8 o'clock last night. The victim is being treated in hospital.

And 大象传媒 Radio Foyle can reveal that 3,800 GP out-of-hour shifts in the Western Trust area have not been covered in the last three years. The body responsible for the service - Western Urgent Care - have used around 120 different doctors in that period as well as paying one individual doctor more than a quarter of a million pounds. Some doctors have also been paid almost 拢500 per shift.
