A potato resistant to 'late blight' was developed back in 2013 by the Sainsbury Lab in Norwich. Those resistant genes are now being used in potato crops in the United States. Now, Professor Jonathan Jones, who did the original work, has produced a potato containing three late-blight resistant genes.
A former banker from Somerset is taking game from country shoots and turning it into meals which are distributed to charities across the country.
