Rev Kate Bottley plays spiritually uplifting and inspiring music with hymns, gospel and choral classics, as well as your requests and dedications. This week Kate marks the festival of Christ the King, a relatively new festival in church terms. It was instituted in 1925 by Pope Pius XI for the Roman Catholic Church and has been embraced by the Church of England in recent years. It's also Stir Up Sunday - the week when Christmas puddings are traditionally made, the week before Advent Sunday.
