From the mid 1980s, Gaelic current affairs television series Prosbaig covered many of the main stories making headlines in the Highlands and Islands and throughout Scotland.

Journalist Donald Morrison takes a look back through the archive and brings us some of the key stories from 1984 to 1988. In this programme: a desire for the expansion of Gaelic medium education in Glasgow; calls for one new hospital to replace five current hospitals in the Oban area; and the last remaining inhabited blackhouse on the Scottish mainland is rethatched.
