Elin Manahan Thomas presents highlights of a concert of Mediterranean polyphony given by the Ghislieri Choir and Consort at the MAFestival in Bruges. The programme includes music by the little-known Benigno Zerafa , whose entire collection of sacred vocal works was found in a cupboard in Malta Cathedral in 1969, and an unusual version of Pergolesi's Stabat Mater.
