Cancer Drug
A local man is refused access to a drug that could help his cancer, even though the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has recommended it for use in England.
Treatment for a local man with a rare cancer has been getting less effective. So John's oncologist asked for a new drug. It's called Osimertinib. But - despite the fact that the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence has recommended it for use in England - it's not being made available for him, in Northern Ireland.
