Children and divorce, Robots, Menopause and relationships
The emotional impact of divorce, the role women are playing in the development of robots and the effect the menopause has on women's partners, family and friends.
It is relatively easy to get a legal divorce but perhaps not so easy to get an emotional one. Charlotte Friedman, a former barrister who specialised in family law, changed career to become a psychotherapist working with divorcing couples. She joins Jane to talk about the impact of divorce on families.
We hear from two leading women in Artificial Intelligence developing robots which interact with humans, understand emotion, and help OAPs and children with autism. Jane is joined by Professor Maja Pantic of Imperial College London and by Professor Kerstin Dautenhahn of the University of Hertfordshire.
As part of our Menopause series, today we are talking about the impact it's having on our relationships with our partners, family and friends. Jane talks to Eileen Bellot who founded the charity Hands Inc and to Heather Currie a gynaecologist and former Chair of the British Menopause Society.
