Episode 6
Antiques experts travel across the country, competing to make a profit at auction. Anita Manning and Charles Hanson set out on a trip around the antique shops of west Scotland.
Welcome to the start of a brand new road trip, with top antiquers Anita Manning and Charles Hanson. Both seasoned trippers with plenty of wins under their belts, these two are keen to beat each other, but in the friendliest possible way.
On this first leg, Anita and Charles head out in a Triumph Stag, hunting out hidden gems in the antique shops of west Scotland. On the way, they find out about Glasgow's famous fire-fighting dog and discover how the area once had the biggest sewing machine factory in the world - before ending at an auction in Hamilton.
Who will claim first leg victory - the playful beagle or the old peasant woman?
