Nation's Favourites: Richard Curtis

Jo sits down with Richard Curtis to talk through his life as a comedy writer and a film producer, as well as his incredible involvement in charity work.

Tonight, in the last instalment of the Nation's Favourites series Jo is joined by Richard Curtis. Richard launched his comedy writing career with Rowan Atkinson and the sensational Blackadder in 1983, and has since gone on to create timeless feel-good films such as Notting Hill, Love Actually and his 1994 debut - Four Weddings and a Funeral.

In the other half of Richard's life, he is the Co-Founder and Vice-Chair of Comic Relief, which he started after visiting Ethiopia during the 1985 famine. Since launching Red Nose Day in 1988, it has gone on to raise £1 billion for projects at home and around the world.

This evening Richard walks Jo through his career and playing the songs that have signposted his life.
