08/03/2018 - 'I feel like going home and watching a sad film and having a wee cry'

After playing Paolo Nutini's 'Growing Up Beside You' Sean now feels vulnerable. He would even have a wee cry if a dog came in to be petted.

After playing Paolo Nutini's 'Growing Up Beside You' Sean now feels vulnerable. He would even have a wee cry if a dog came in to be petted. Joe in Rathlin wonders why farmers always put the gate where there's muck? Why not move the gate to where there's no muck? The Four Pennies once appeared at the Embassy Ballroom in Derry and there was a problem with their amplifiers and the whole of Derry knew about it and they had to get help from a man who lived in Sean's street. Are the sand sculptors in Spain using moulds? Sean may kick one over next time he's there if they are. Ken says it's not fair to say they all use moulds and some of them are very skilled. When Sean started on the radio the advice was to 'speak with a smile on your face'. Music from The Piranhas, Del Shannon, Bette Midler, Paul Brady and more.
