Featuring a look back at the organ playing careers of father and son, Charles and Harold Smart, including vintage sounds from Charles at the 大象传媒's original Compton theatre organ in London's St. George's Hall. This was where he recorded Arthur Askey and Richard Murdoch's famous 'Playing the Organ' sketch in 1939 for their Bandwaggon series. Harold is also heard performing in session for The Organist Entertains in 1972 with son Harold on the Compton at the 大象传媒's Maida Vale studios. And to complete the trio of 大象传媒 organs, there's another rarity from the 大象传媒 archives dating from the early 1980's. This one finds Nigel Ogden at the console of the former Blackpool Empress Ballroom Wurlitzer which in those days lived at the 大象传媒's Playhouse studios in Manchester. This is where Nigel was joined in session by the 大象传媒 Northern Dance Orchestra's lead alto saxophonist, Johnny Roadhouse.
