Crucial Roxy Music

The Don's selections cross time, space and genre and this week's Crucial Vinyl is Country Life, released by Roxy Music in 1974.

The Don's selections cross time, space and genre. Each week, as well as blending his favourite new music with classics from the UK, USA, Jamaica, Africa and way beyond, he highlights a piece of Crucial Vinyl - a cherished album from his own collection. This week it's Country Life, released by Roxy Music in 1974.

Don says, "This, the fourth Roxy Music album, contained all the bits we liked from their glam days (well, except for Brian Eno), but somehow seemed more like a complete body of work. It's an art rock classic with a title that's a nod to a well-known magazine, and then there's that cover!".
