Prof Brian Cox joins Shaun for his weekly Science chat & Matt Everitt is here with the Music News which includes a chat with Miles Kane about his new album and a very special live track from David Bowie which is being released for this week's Record Store Day. 'Welcome to the Blackout' is a previously unreleased 3 LP was recorded live at Earls Court, London on the 30th June and 1st July, 1978 by Tony Visconti and was mixed by David and David Richards at Mountain Studios, Montreux, 17th - 22nd January, 1979. Shaun will play 'Sound and Vision' from the album just after 7.30am. #RSD18

Plus, the Earworm search continues & the Album of the Day is the new album from Laura Veirs. 'The Lookout' was released last Friday via Bella Union and was produced by Veirs' longtime collaborator (and spouse) Tucker Martine. For the record she was also joined by musicians including Karl Blau, as well as Sufjan Stevens and Jim James for the record. The album is the follow up to 2013's Warp and Weft (and her collaborative collection with k.d. lang and Neko Case in 2016 - case/lang/veirs) and is her tenth studio album released on Bella Union.
